BBQ Competitions in central California ?

How do I go about finding BBQ competitions in central California ? I know of one coming up in Modesto that I cant's attend. I have been also attending the Reno ( Nevada ) Rib Cookoff the last few years. But I would like to know of others so I can investigate and see first hand what goes on. I will for now only be attending as a spectator.

I just tried it for the first time for CA.

Rick There are also a couple more new events not listed yet
will be soon The State Champ at Eastshore will be a great contest
