I stumbled accross BBB while surfing for sauce ricipes 2 weeks ago. Dropped in and lurked a few times deciding if I might hold my own amongest the smoke and heat. So here I is and ready to hear some new ways of torturing meat from the Brethren.
I'm a retired building maintenance tech living on a few acres North of Dallas Tx. I was born on a farm near where I live now. Hobbies include hunting, fishing, woodworking,RVing and mechanical tinkering. And then of course I enjoy smoking beef, chicken and pork in my accumilation of cookers. I am presently in the planning and material acusition stage of my first new cooker in 20 years. I am frugal so most material will be yard sale buys and roadside treasures that were dumped along with previous owner's dog when they no longer pleased them.

Well thanks for the welcome folks. Man that Nov 2 bash is right down the road but our son invited us to a cook out at his place that Saturday. Definatly will keep my antenna up for the next one any where nearby.
Peeps,I can't see any other countries from my porch but I can see Lake Ray Hubbard and ride a stick horse to Lavon.
