Greeting to all my new pals. I've been a backyard cooker for 20+ years and last year I joined KCBS and took the judging class with my son. My wife just took the class a few days ago. I've been using COS cookers that I've done some major mods on. I also have a 22.5 Weber. A couple of weeks ago I entered my first KCBS comp... Sam's Club Cook in Madison,WI. We came in DAL but I learned a lot, met some very nice folks (heard about this forum), and decided to order a BWS Extended Party for future comps. Biggest regret so far is that I did not taste Capt Ron's coffee in Madison. Too busy cooking.
