Hello all,

I'm just dipping my toes into the world of proper barbecuing and am looking to learn as much as I can about low and slow cooking.

Until recently, this was my BBQ of choice,

I call it the Black&Decker Barbecue-mate. I'm a pretty decent cook but I mostly do direct grilling or cooking things like Jerk chicken in the oven and then finishing on the grill.

Now i want something with a lid and more versatility.

I've just ordered a Weber 57cm One Touch Premium and charcoal chimney and am looking forward to trying out some new recipes. Would love to have a go at ribs, pulled pork, whole chickens etc. Mmmmm!

I have lots of questions but I'll keep reading and researching for a bit.

Cheers
Dave
