This has always been a well run event and Im sure it will be this year as well. I have cooked this every year and also in the past helped on the committee to represent the cookers. Im sure it will be another good time this year!

We will be there! It will be our 3rd comp ever...and as of this writing we still haven't done our first. We are true rookies! Look for Willy's Q Shack, we'll be the ones with the big ole bug eyes trying to figure it all out!

I am considering entering this as my first BBQ comp. Gives me enough time to plan and practice.

Would you recommend this event for a first timer?

Probably not a bad one for a 1st run

We are seriously considering this one. We have that weekend open as of right now, and we've always wanted to cook it.

This is one of our favorites. They've put on enough contests to know what it takes to ensure it runs smooth for everyone (even whel Sal helps out)!!! This was one of the first contests we signed up for this year! New teams will appreciate the facilities and the fact that there is never a lack of information from the organizer.

Looks like a great line up so far!

As of now, we are in! Just need to get the application and money in the mail.

The Peppermonkey folks told us this was a really nice and well run event.

But, please change the order of the outcome to show LifeIsGood,ButBBQIsBetter at the top.
