Hey fella's,
I guess i should of posted here awhile back but better late then never.

I'm also ashamed to say that I don't own a Bandera..i've just got a GSM vertical gas powered smoker and a weber gasser and weber kettle.

I've learned a lot here though and enjoy the jokes as well as the information I get, like how to do a fattie etc. I also belong to the GSM yahoo board. I try to smoke something at least every other week, more in warmer months.

My hobbies are fishing, boating, fishing, boating, and smoking.

Are you on any other boards?

That id, boatnut, sounds super familiar.

What part of Ohio you in? Got a few brothers that have signed on all over your state.

Again, welcome

You don't have to own a Bandera to belong here.....when I found this site I was using a Meco electric shopping for a 'dera. We have all kinds of cookers here, some gassers, some grillers, some smokers and some woodys. I'm sure glad you found us! We're a good bunch of brothers, here to share our knowledge, and to pick each other up when we are down.......

So, Welcome my new brother!

Welcome to the board! Always happy to see a new face!

My father-in-law lives in Youngstown. Went to visit him. Once.

Hello from Kansas Brother Q'r. This is the place if your looking for other folks that love the "Q". You'll get straight answers to all your Q'ing questions with no bull. (Unless you ask Bruno something cause he's full of it. See his picture? Nuff said)

Remember the only mistake you can make in Q'ing is not trying it in the first place. And remember this. If you talk about what you have Q'ed on this forum, you better post some pictures or your going to get a bunch of grief for not sharing your food porn...

Welcome, grab a cold one, and jump into the fray

Greetings Mike. You know, if you could figure out where to mount that smoker aboard, you'd only ever have to come back to shore for more meat, beer and fuel.

Howdy to ya Mike. I don't own a dera either. Mostly because they don't sell them this far west. Got me a Brinkman Stillwater. One of the guys turned me on to it on eBay. Glad to have you on board.

Home of "Buns" restaraunt and Ohio Weslyan University! Good to have another Buckeye in the house! Bet you do most of your boating at Alum Creek down there? Good muskie fishing aye? Seems to be alot of BBQ in Columbus! My daughter is transferring outta Miami to OSU so I guess I'll get to try it all! Woody

"you'd only ever have to come back to shore for more meat, beer and fuel."

Most of that meat can swim, so, beer & fuel should just about do it. Well, maybe bait for the meat & something to make it hold still long enough to be smoked........Uhhh, never mind:shock:
