I'm heading through there in a few days. Anyone know of a good BBQ joint to hit up?

Smalleys Caribbean BBQ in Stillwater is really good. Market BBQ by the target center sucks.

Smalleys has some great wing sauce too, you should try the hottest stuff they have. Its a real kick in the pants.

A pal likes Ted Cooks. I have not eaten since I started bbq myself, so cannot offer an opinion, but was darn tasty at the time.

I tried Q-Fanatic while working in Minneapolis and it wasn't for me. Brisket and ribs were edible, but the pound of pulled pork I took back to the room got tossed. Even after I doused it with sauce, all I could taste was campfire.

Baker's Ribs in Eden Prairie. They are excellent and way under appreciated around here.

Dunno about BBQ, but when your done eating try Brits pub for a brew or two. Cool place with lawn bowling on the roof. Real grass! Crazy

Honestly, there's not a single barbeque restaurant in the Twin Cities that I'd eat at. Try Psycho Suzie's Motor Lounge if you're looking for some good food (non-bbq).

Agreed about the lack of BBQ...instead, I'd hit up a good burger place. We've got tons of those. The Nook, Shamrocks, Burger Jones, Burger Moes, Blue Door, 5-8 Club, Matt's Bar, just to name a few.
