I am new to this forum. My name is Jim Upton, alias the DragonMaster, and I live in Huntington Beach, CA. I'm twice retired and have just purchased a new motor home and expect to be doing plenty of BBQing. Like most that live in the So. Cal. area I've done a lot of BBQing but don't really know what I'm doing. I would really like to learn how to do a great Pork Roast, Ribs and how to put together a good dry rub among other things. I have been using the standard, Charm Glow BBQ but also have a Holland Grill that I actually prefer. I just need to learn how to use it to the best advantage. I will also have a Holland Companion Grill (portable) that I intend to take in the Motor Home so any advice there will be most appreciated.

The name DragonMaster, in case you wonder, is a result of my weaving Dragons on fishing rods.

Anyway I look forward to getting to know you and learning to produce some darn good meals.

That's really neat. Until this afternoon, I didn't even know about this talent. After doing a little searching, I'm impressed. Very impressed.

Thank you all for the welcome I appreciate it.

Querry; It's not as hard as it looks, just time consuming. Like cooking a good piece of meat you can't rush it.
