I am in Charlotte for 5 weeks for work. Any BBQ joints that I have to visit? What else is there to do here? Id really like to get some authentic hog.

Been a little while since I've been there but it's a great town. I remember a place called The Double Door that always had some great music. Saw Delbert McClinton there once. Lot of good local talent too. Not sure about the Q, but there's a ton of great places to eat there. Keep us informed and have fun!!

Old Hickory House BBQ is good, Bridges BBQ is better but it's 50 minutes outside of Charlotte.
Macs Speed Shop has good BBQ

Give BBQ King a shot for their bbq dipped fried chicken. It's pretty good.
Not too hip on their bbq, though.
I've heard the Kickin' Pig and Burk's BBQ down in Rock Hill is pretty good. It's just a short drive down I-77 from Charlotte.
