I understand alot of you guys are in the NY area? Looking forward to discussing BBQ and life with yet another hoard of folks! Woody (The)

Tulsa aye? I fly into Tulsa every year to call on a customer over in Springdale Ark! We always end up staying over by the airport at a Hampton Inn and eating at The Macaroni Grill! Always wanted to play Southern Hills! You will have to let me know where the Q is in Tulsa!

Actually, I'm more of a Ramon Allones Gigantes (Habana) man, but I thought the Opus Band was way cool! If it is somebody elses. I'll change to my standard "guy chopping a cherry tree" avatar!

Welcome to The Woodman. Glad to have you on board. Enjoy the ride.

BTW, I thought Opus was a comic strip character:razz:

Nope, you're the first to use that avatar - it's yours!

Those Ramon Allones got good reviews - and it's one BIG smoke!

Thanks Arlin. I used to spend about $4,000/year on cigars. Since I live relatively close to Canada, I would buy alot of contraband in Windsor (across from Detroit.) I honed my taste for the Cuban leaf! Best I ever had was a couple of 94 Hoyo De Monterey Double Coronas. Well, I gave the things up 4 years ago, but when I started catering and doing comps last year, I found that I hads nothing to keep me awake in the wee hours whilst tending the fire! Now I smoke on a "conservative" basis.Haven't had one in a couple weeks now and don't keep any around. I am trying to keep it from becoming a habit again! (like BBQ has!) To me, the best non-cuban cigars available are the Padron Anniversaire series, The Exclusivo is exquisite! Woodreaux

"Woodreaux" - I love it!

I've been HERFing for about a dozen years (Aeynghus and I together have burnt up the equivalent of a small Caribbean country's annual tobacco export), but I'm just now getting the "bug". I was turned on to a smoking forum (www.eherf.com (http://www.eherf.com/)) and my knowledge and supply have just about quadrupled in a month! Check out what arrived here for me today. ;)

Whilst I am very happy, I don't know if I would be considered "gay" there "C". I fear that this is only "wishful thinking" on your part!
