Where is the State Qualifer/Championship for the Jack?

I searched the KCBS event list for KY and came up with these for this year's Jack...

So is that where the draw comes in? Because if you have 1/2 a dozen different "state championships"? How do you pick one to get into the Jack?
Again, if I'm asking the wrong question please correct me.. I'm competing in the Jack this year in the Shade-Tree division and would love to try to get with the big boys next year... I have ever competed in a BBQ competition and not really sure where to go....

Correct. If you win GC in a Jack qualifier you then get a 'bung' in the draw. Then they draw for each state. If your bung is drawn, you are in!
