Need info. on turn in box, whats the best cut or pulled or both in the turn in box?

Rubs or injection?

you're asking very broad questions...

as someone new to competition BBQ, I'd suggest using the search feature to find many threads and also using the sticky threads at the top of this sub forum about Comp BBQ & Turn in Boxes.

From there, budget permitting you may also want to buy a book with insight on comp BBQ or attend a BBQ class catering to competition aspect

also consider finding a local competition in your area to attend and possibly lending a hand to a team

Try posting in mentoring section here. If a local team will take you under their wing for a contest or two you could learn lots. It may mean doing cleaning, just being an extra pair of hands or just watching. I'm a little far away but in 2 weeks I'll be doing lake city fl. It's FBA but you're welcome to drive down Friday morning and hang with me for the weekend. I will have one other newbie with me so you'd get a good chance to learn.
