I was just there this past weekend... I always love the brewery, the grounds, the beer, and the people. The food's ok, too.

Can't believe we were there a week early!

Anyone want to reveal what they are vending? We are doing pulled pork sliders, skipping sides this year

All I will reveal at this time is that what we are vending is non-BBQ. Could be a windfall, could screw us. Never vended before, ever! So this should be interesting. Really looking forward to hitting the road on Thursday for this comp! Been wanting to do this for years and everything worked out this time and they liked our essay.

It'll be nice seeing some old familiar faces from the NEBS circuit and to make some new friends as well. Stop on down and visit...I believe we're site 24.

Chicken is prep'd, getting pork butts now, brisket/ribs thursday and will be on site by 10am friday (I hope). My normal Q partner has moved to Seattle, so I have a new crew...hope we can keep up (not that we ever could).

The Perfect Butt is getting there on Friday morning. Small vending this year, took a beating last year and apparently by the looks of it they are set up some people with a advantage (m@?) Giggles? So it appears we will enjoy the event and lay low.

We are very much looking forward to our first Harpoon. We are vending competition BBQ and just like the banner says...."Serving Cape Cod Maritime 'Que".....(:>)

The Basic BBQ Team is planning to be in the parking lot by 11:30 pm ton Thursday night. (FYI...that noise is my wife laughing at my optimism on timing?????)

No response from their website on judges. I tried to call but got the run around.
Any advise?

What do u mean, run around? From billy or harpoon? Mike Paone is the man in charge of the comp.

Harpoon. I was not aware that they filled up that early, however that explains the radio silence from them.

We are looking forward to this - can't wait to hang out with all of our NEBS friends again this weekend - hopefully the the judges don't hate our food as much as they did last weekend in RI...
