Didn't see roll call for this first time contest- organizer is working hard to make it a good one- check it out.

Spoke with organizer this am- team count is 11- looking for 4 more to make it legal- come on out - established Brewfest on Friday- at Clinton Square in downtown- looking for BBQ teams to vendor-only need to get local vending license - no additional fee from comp- see website & call today. KCBS & 3 additional categories on Sat.

cant make it..too many vending opertunities...hope the rest of you get real judges this weekend...899...989...567....999...hope these people that score so low when the rest are normal get diarrrreaaaa....

This event is still looking for a couple more teams, would be really nice to make it a qualifier!! The cooks packet says 20x20 but they are flexible if you need more space. Vending opportunities and it is a beer fest :grin: . Hope to see you there!!!

Thursday, July 19th
Team check is between 12pm – 7pm
Friday, July 20th
Team check in is between 8am – 1pm
Cook’s meeting at 8pm
Empire Brewfest opens to the public at 5pm
Music and pouring begins at 5:30pm
Event ends at 10:00pm
Saturday, July 21st
Judges sign in - 9:30am
Judges meeting - 10:30am
Sauce turn-in – 11:30am
American Barbeque Championships opens to the public
and music begins at 12:00pm.
Chicken turn-in – 12:00pm
Pork Ribs turn-in – 12:30pm
Pork turn-in – 1:00pm
Beef Brisket turn-in – 1:30pm
Sides turn-in – 2:00pm
Dessert turn-in – 2:30pm
Awards Ceremony – 6:00pm
Event ends at 10:00pm
