Just wanted to introduce my self. I am a Time Magazine photographer that got the smoking bug going to photogrtaph the competitions. Just came back from American Royal and not sure my Bandera will satisfy me any more.
Loking forward to learning more from the back yard pros.

Got to see Byron from Butt Rub win the Rib competition. Showed the pros and cons of a Jed Master Smoker. Really slick if you just want to throw them on and take a nap.
3 little pigs showed me how to do a brisket the way the pros do. Dlicious!!!

Did you notice that there will be a KCBS judging school in Creve Coeur in January? Maybe also a cooking class - more on that in the future
