Made it back in just under 2 hours. Great to see everyone and thanks for the great care package. Mista, great sauce. The shirts look great too Phil, this will be the only time wifey and I will wear matching clothes. Ron, I'll be grinding the coffee in the morning, if it taste half as good as it smells, I'm in for a treat. And to Greg, the host with the most, the John Henry will get used tomorrow and that is one sweet looking cooker you got there. The pictures don't do it justice. Hopefully I'll be able to stay for the whole bash next time.

It's morning.

Mark and RonL are cooking.
Phil, John and I are watching the storm on CNN.
The trailer crew (especially KC) are still sleeping it off (supposedly).

And somewhere a fat little white guy is still shiiting himself...

Thanks to everybody who came. I had a blast. Except for the litle bit of rain on Sunday, we could not have asked for much better weather.

Great to see the brothers that I have already met, and great to meet some more. Hope everyone made it home alright.

Everything made it to the fridge. Anything food left behind will not go to waste. There is no way I can eat everything, so it will all go up to the club for the neighbors tonight or tomorrow night.

Just now getting a chance to thank everyone properly. My son (Scotty) and I had a great time. A special thanks to Dog and kc for getting us there and back.

Got home Sunday late afternoon. I gave Scotty 2 bennadryl to chill out his autisim some for the ride home because he's never been on that long of a trip before. Anyway, we both fell asleep almost immediately but both feel fine now.

And, BTW, my beans did make my nose runny for a little while so I guess they were a bit spicey. But no incidents of ALS (A$$-Lava Syndrome) wrer reported.

And Greg. I'm sure the lawn will benefit from the ammonia treatment it received.

I just want to take time out to say thanks. This was the best 3 days I've had in quite a while. BBQ, Booze and BS...what a way to spend a weekend!

Greg and Teresa: Thank you for opening your home to a bunch of smelly old men. You made me feel like family. Thanx also for the rub! I wonder how it would taste on the can of spam that somehow ended up in my suitcase?

Bill: I really enjoyed you man. It's cool hanging out with someone who is always enjoying a private joke. Thanks for everthing! Now where should I send the mustard?

Badger: We enjoyed our first sliders and our first bash together. You are a smart guy but tell me...do you still have a wiener in your lap? Tell your wife to have fun cleaning your underwear.

KC: You know you are my brother! I will always remember to check the turtles on the perimeter.

BigDog: My fellow chilehead! Let's come up with a new hot sauce and call it two big hot ones! Thanx for making sleep a little more comfortable.

BellyBros I, II, and Dave: You guys cracked me up! I'm waiting for the Blue Collar BBQ comedy tour!

Bob: Great beans! I gotta get a copy of that recipe! (Did anyone else look at Bob and think "Cliff Claven with a better personality"?)

RonL: My fellow photographer and the coffee king! My wife loves you man!! Thanks!

Neil and Mrs Neil: I'm glad you folx showed up! I was just telling my wife how much I enjoyed Neil's nuts.

Mark: I'm really glad you and Scotty showed up! I've been sniffing the bag you gave me all day! Can't wait to try and make a rub with it! Viva los huevos rancheros!!

Phil: You stinky farker! I hope you finally stopped having false alarms! None of this would have been possible without you.

If all of this seems strange to you, you really need to go to a bash!

Mark you calendars.

Anyway, I just popped open a Rolling Rock left over from the Bash.

Phil and I always make sure there is Rolling Rock available for he and I during a Bash

Is it the best beer? Fark no.

But there is something about it that makes it the perfect "pacing" beer.

I also drank this on the first date with the OL

Side story, until I met the girl who became my wife, I never drank hard liquer. I was drinking Lite, at the time (I think)

First date, 4 some, waiter comes over, other couple gets Rolling Rock, wife2b orders vodka cranberry.

I thought, better say "same" so she is not the only hard stuff drinker.

3 more for me, and I decide I like it.

After dinner, Second City. Farking hillarious. $5 bottles of Rolling Rock.

So not only do I blame the OL for starting me on hard liquer, she also started me on Rolling Rock.

Not a bad commercial pilsner.

I'm normally an MGD man, this close to Milwaukee

MGD?

Matronly Gold Digger?

Mostly Grubby Dirtbag?

Mad Green Dingleberry?

Mister Gofarka Duck?

Yes it's late and I'm easily amused.

It is a midwest bash tradition started last year by jt and shock.
But of course. How else do geeks talk?
