Looking for some good RV parks/campgrounds for the week of July 4th in Iowa, Missouri, or Minnesota. Will be me, my wife and 3 year old son. Trying to find a place that has some activities for the little guy and possibly a decent 4th of July celebration. Anyplace come to mind please let me know! Thanks!!

I go camping about ten times per year, and State Parks are usually the best places to camp. Commercial RV parks can be hit or miss, as far as quality, but the State Parks are usually consistent from one to another.

Just make sure the park has the amenities and services you want. I usually get water and electric, and make sure they have full bathroom and shower facilities.

I belong to the Teadrop and Tiny Travel Trailer Forum. We have over 10,000 members all over the world. Join the forum, and ask the same question over there. You'll get dozens of good suggestions. www.tnttt.com

Thanks guys. I have been to both those websites. Used to spend all my summers in Okoboji...great place! Just wanted to see if anyone here has a "go to" spot that might be interesting.

CD...thanks for the link, I will check it out!

Figured you knew about Okoboji but had to mention it. I've spent a good amount of time there myself. Personal favorite if you can't tell... Cheers!!!

Okoboji is definitely a favorite. Got in a little trouble there over the years!

The Kellogg RV Park and Iowa's Best Burger Cafe aren't too far from the Iowa Speedway in Newton, if that sort of thing's of interest.
