Hello all and thanks for letting me join such a fine group of BBQ Pit Chefs.
I am from Huron South Dakota and was raised in a Holiday Inn in Mitchell S.D. I was tought to cook by some of the finest chefs of the 70's and 80's coming from the deep south with their BBQ knowlege along with my father and grandfather. I have been around sometype of bbq pit most of my life. I have been passing this on to my boys and my daughter for sometime now and have been competing in non santioned cook offs for the last 3 years. This year I have expanded into the KCBS contests. My family all love BBQ the real way.

Hi Scott, and welcome!

Guys... I met Scott at the Cabela's Cookoff in Mitchell, SD a few weeks back. He has a nice setup for competitions (I don't remembe the cooker, specifically, but I do remember that it was a nice one). I'm sure that those of you in that area will see run into him at some of the comps.
