This is a nice contest with RV sites with full hook ups and a free heated pool for the kids.

For those of us that don't have an RV and have reserved other accommodations (family bungalow)... is this where your cooking site is as well? I just want to make sure so I can leave all my tents and stuff at home.

Chris, there are a number of different bungalows and the like, some close and some a little walk. You might email them and ask where they are putting you.

I understand. We've been to the Landing before but not to BBQ. What I don't understand is...is the bungalow or campsite we are staying at (we have a bungalow) the spot we park the smoker? Doing this, we can utilize the bungalow kitchen versus having to bring tents/tables. Thanks!

Sorry, didn't understand.. I don't remember anyone cooking by a bungalo last year, but I may have missed it too.

We will be staying and hopefully cooking at a cottage. Gonna throw everything in the back of the truck and run for the border. Just hope we don't forget something

I did call Mark Twain Landing and they indicated that your smoker / cooking location is to be co-located. They said that they were pretty lenient with allowing the smokers in the grassy area next to the cottage / bungalow. Guess I can leave all the tents at home and prep in A/C for a change!!!
