just wondering if any of the Brethren will be cooking at Lexington this weekend... so i can stop by and say hello....i wanted to check out Edenton, but i want to see the Lang operation and grills and possibly buy one if they have one for sale and also see Myron(maybe get an autographed cookbook) and Tuffy since they will be filming the last Pitmasters show ....this one is also free admission, why does Edenton charge $5 to get in anyway??

Edenton is also cash or two canned goods. All proceeds go to the food bank.

I looked for the thread also...i see there are 45 teams signed up, even though i am a spectator i kind of wanted to meet some of the Brethren professional smokers......

Bring your own book to be safe.I believe moron will be flying in and may not have any on hand.or I may be wrong.see ya there we will be cooking a whole hog on an 84address and doing some chicken and other stuff.just look for my Lang bus with the drunk pig driving.

Well we had a great time in Lexington and managed a top 10 finish in Chicken. not to bad for our first ever competition. Our ribs weren't to bad, finished 28th, but our Pork and Brisket were terrible. lots of room for improvement.
