I was in Pittsburgh this week for work... Went to the famous Primanti Bros. that was on Man v. Food. Had the pastrami & cheese (no slaw). Pic attached... The group I was with also split two others that were cut up among the group to sample but did not take pics of them.

Overall, I thought it was pretty good... eventhough the fries on the sandwich are a big piece of what makes them popular, I thought it detracted/dulled out from the overall flavors of everything else...

I knew this place was on Man v. Food... The next night we went to Quaker Steak & Lube... had wings and cheesesteak... Didn't realize this place was on MvF too until the next day when one of the local guys I was with mentioned to someone else that he took me there and they said it was on the show.

I always wonder about these places that end up on telly. Glad that you enjoyed it. Never been sure about fries in the sandwich.

Do they have a low carb version for the Adkins folks? Oh wait, that would be coleslaw.

Glad you enjoyed your trip to our neck of the woods. Was it the P-Bros in Dahntown P-burg, or one of the satellites? Man v Food did not do justice to the real claim to fame: eating there at 3:00 AM.

What did you think of QS&L?
