Im curious to learn where users of the 640 set their damper. My 640 cooks hotter on the left side and about the same temps on both shelves and the right side cooks cooler in same fashion as well regardless of whether the damper is pulled all the way in or out. I had my cooker set at 250 and probe read 250 but leaf side would only peak at about 235. Right side would run about 275
Here is an overall graph of some temp I ran with my stoker. There are about 5 different snap shots of the same run in my album. Keep in mind the YS640 was set at 250 for duration.
The top Line is the top shelf Right Side of cooker
Second Line is bottom shelf right
third line down is top left rack
4th line is bottom left rack
and the 5th line that starts about 3/4 way thru the cook was I probe I placed adjacent to the factory pit probe
