Great Mall BBQ Contest Olathe KS

Has anyone done the Great Mall BBQ Contest in Olathe KS? We are looking to add a few new events this year and the Great Mall is about a 20 minute drive. I thought I heard some grumblings about it last fall, and was just curious if anyone had done it and what they thought about it. thanks!

We did it, no complaints except it got to about 108 degrees that weekend.

we did the comp last year, it went well...this year they are taking over the GAB date...not sure the GAB is going to happen this year, they are adding alot of new things from what i have heard, i got an e mail the other day they are working on a web site for the event and it will be up soon...thank goodness its not in july it was hot as hell!
