The Venue

Every now and again, when you walk into a restaurant, there's something about the place that just feels like home. That's the sensation we want you to have when you step into our highly-acclaimed, down-home BBQ restaurant, Bobby Q's. In a few short years, we've been rated "Best of Gold Coast" by the readers of Westport Magazine, voted Best BBQ - Fairfield County by Readers of Connecticut Magazine, critically acclaimed by the Fairfield County media, and we're a favorite of the Food Network, which has featured us three times! Our sauces consistently beat out BBQ legends from across the country at prestigious BBQ competitions like the "American Royal" in Kansas City, "The Best of the Best" in Georgia, The Scovie Awards in New Mexico and the highly regarded Hot Pepper Awards, where our BBQ sauces earned 1st place honors.

CTbites Scoops on opening of new Beer Garden! While the rest of us bitch that downtown Westport virtually shuts down before the sun sets, Bob Le Rose, the owner of Bobby Q's Barbeque & Grill, and the president of the Downtown Merchants Association, is slyly doing something about it, turning his popular rooftop bar into a funky Beer Garden, complete with a thousand twinkling outdoor lights, a newly installed garden and a respectable selection of domestic microbrews.
