This was my first visit to a KCBS competive event, just wanted to look around. I made up 20 Brethren business cards and invited about 16 competive groups to join our site.
Frisco, CO is about 104 miles from Parker and is up at 9,100 ft. If you ever to plan to attend and compete in this event, your tow vehicle better be up for the pull and have great brakes! What a great place once you get there. It was 62 F, sunny and just a little wind until late in the day.
If you want to take a look at Frisco, here is the link www.townoffrisco.com
I took a bunch of pics, I'll post in the Photos section, later. Of the ribs I tried, the "Fire In The Hole" team were the best. It was their first competive event, they made their pit and used their own rub, no sauce and sold out by 2pm.
