Here's a link to a listing of the "best" BBQ places in the country.

http://www.gayot.com/restaurants/bestof/barbecue.html

The list is a little suspect. It does include Dreamland and the Salt Lick which I understand to be good. But in NYC, it lists Tennesse Mountain - which out and out sucks. Take this list with a grain of salt.

If you open a Kansas City phone book and look for BBQ joints you will see just how inadequate this lis really is. If you eat at a different BBQ resturant every week it will take you years to cover them all. I know, because I had a friend that tried it.

That would be pretty cool.

You could do it in about a month here. Month and a week if you include the chains.

one of the spots in Los Angeles on the list is still my favorite.

Best places are the ones that don't even have a phone!

2 of the ones in Seattle I would never go to again. Best places here to go are only safe to go to in the daytime. Except 3 pigs, it's in a safe neighborhood.
