I had a great meal a while back at Angelo's (Ft. Worth) There may be better places in Dallas but I have had no experience with any. Ft. Worth is really not that far.

Angelo's is located at ..2533 White Settlement Road, Ft. Worth.

Like a said some of the locals might have better and or closer options.

You might try this new place called Lockhart Smokehouse...

My personal favorite is Meshack's in Garland...

Show up drunk at Caseydog's at 3 am. He should be cool with that.

Or you could ask him - I'm guessing he knows what's up around there.

Definitely! That is what I would do. Especially the 3am part. :-)

I just came through Dallas earlier today and stopped at Rudy's. Not bad at all. It's on the south side off of I-20. Good brisket and a great traditional sauce. The place looks like an old gas station and has a big sign. Hard to miss it.

This one is not too far from the Anatole, about a 10 minute drive, its a Dallas institution

Go to the Inwood location, small shack, big taste. Beer battered onion rings are awesome!
