Hi everyone,
Signed up about a year ago and thought it was time to introduce myself. Been cookin outdoors since I was a kid. And im ashamed to say I did not start cookin without propane till about three years ago. I bought a fire pit and turned it into a bbq. Been hooked ever since. I still have my propane weber grill hanging around. I would go through about 5 to 6 tanks a year. Now, its lucky to go through 1 tank a year. I Just bought a imperal kamado off of craigs list and thats what has got me breaking my silence. Have lots of questions about it. Should my questions go in Qtalk ? Also, how do I post photos ? Thanks for any help guys!!!

Welcome from Indiana!!!!

THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!!

To your questions:

YES...anything (questions, photos, comments, reviews, etc) that have to have ANYTHING to do with outdoor cooking DO go in Q-Talk. Post up a question there about your cooker and you'll get answers before you can refresh the page!!!

As far a photos go.....a lot of us use Photobucket. It's free with unlimited space. You can either use the BBQ-Brethren login of "bbq-brethren" and the password is "bbq54321" OR do what I did and create your own photobucket membership. Once you are there, just upload your photos by following their easy instructions. Then, just copy the "direct link" under the photos and then you click on the "insert photo" icon on your message posting board (it looks like this>>>) http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif and paste the "direct link URL" from photobucket into the pop up window and POOF....there's your photo.

I've probably made that more complicated than it really is. We just try to encourage photobucket or similar place to save space on the site instead of uploading pics to the site.

Anyway....welcome! Ask questions as needed! There are many people here MUCH more techie than I am!!!
