Hi,

We've been listening to everyone's comments and working to implement changes that you have suggested.

The font size has been increased almost 40% for issue 7. We have also changed the font to something that we hope will be easier to read.

I look forward to getting your feedback on the next issue, which should be out in early August.

Thanks!

Eric

Thank you all for all of your efforts.
As I age ungraciously it is becoming harder to read small print.

Have you considered offering a downloadable pdf version? As others have said (in the blurry-text threads) its nearly unreadable in print, and the number of ways to read a pdf are vastly larger than the number of ways to read a huge online-only flash app. (The print -> save as pdf just saves it as a bunch of images -- if you publish to pdf directly, you can embed the fonts and such so that it scales cleanly on different devices or for readers of a higher.... 'worldly experience' level :becky:)

I don't know the advertiser/financial situation, but you might also consider publishing (free or cheap) at Amazon or BN. I'd subscribe!

I have to concur with some other thoughts here. Just tried to read it and... ugh to say the least.

What's wrong with the good ol' fashioned PDF? Easy to layout, easy to generate. Unless you are stuck using some online tool that doesn't generate. And I would think any online tool offering a newsletter worth their salt could actually pump out a PDF version as a download.

Just my $.002.

We think that you'll like the changes that have been made. The font is larger, the page margins are decreased and a few other changes have been made to make the magazine easier to read.

The next issue has a focus on competitions, including reviews, recipes interviews with Myron Mixon and Ron Cates. We hope to have it out in a couple of weeks.
