Hey everyone, looking for some help here with pricing. I live in WNY, and a friend wants me to cook up some pork shoulers and chicken drumsticks for about 30 people in about a month. I told him it would be $10/lb for the pulled pork, but I have no idea what to charge or figure per person for the drumsticks. I told him about $125 total, but I'd have to figure out an exact price for him. I plan on cooking up two 8lb butts. But the chicken...I have no idea. How much qty and price should I figure?

Figure your food costs and multiply x 3. I would do leg guarters, their cheaper. For 30 i'd cook 20 leg quarters and 2 pork butts.

I was considering that. When I spoke to him tonight, he had suggested the drums. I think I'll tell him that he'll get more bag for his buck by doing the quarters instead. Thanks for the input :)
