Yo guys. I just registered and wanted to see what all the ruckus is about on this board. I hope to learn a few tricks of the trade.

I'm sure you will learn a lot here and have a great time doing it. The brothers here will treat you like family. If there is something you want to know about BBQ, Just run a search and you will probably find lots of threads about it. If not, post a question and you will get lots of opinions.
Don't be afraid to jump right in on a conversation. Ask questions and share what you know.
Here are the first 3 things you should do:
1. Download the Bandera 101 file from the home page. It contains a wealth of knowledge that will help you even if you don't own a Bandera (I don't).
2. Go to the Cattle Call forum and introduce yourself. Tell everyone who you are, where you are, what you like to cook, how you like to cook it, etc.
3. Go to your profile and edit your signature. Be sure to add in what type of cooker you have so when you ask questions, you can get the proper response.
I hope all of this is helpful. Now pull up a chair, grab a beverage, and make yourself at home!
