Hello folks, I'm new to the forum. I'm from Memphis TN, currently living in Chicago. I'm a KCBS and MBN judge, cooking on a Horizon 16" offset. I also use a little weber kettle for quick stuff, and a propane weber for even quicker stuff. I was judging in Costa Mesa a few weeks ago and another judge at my table mentioned this website. Looking through the threads has been really educational!

Seems like a great community here and I'll try to keep my foot out of my mouth.

Thanks for the welcome notes! After about a week of looking through threads I find one of the most interesting little nuggets of info is where everyone is from. The old "BBQ is only good in ____" is really ancient history. There are some seriously expert people from all over up in here.
