Sorry bud, we tried our best in scheduling the class. Who knows, if it goes well, we can bring Rub back for an encore.....

Now to tell the wife I wont be competing at Galvinels Hogfest, that should go over like a lead balloon........

I want to thank 3 Eyz BBQ for stepping up and sponsoring the meat for Friday night's pot-luck dinner and our Saturday morning breakfast, and providing a bottle of their rub to everyone. We also have Stump's Smokers on board offering a 15% discount towards a smoker ordered from the class. Other sponsors coming soon.

Getting close to half full at this point, don't hesitate if you want in. :thumb:

These are the two hotels I recommend. They will be close to the store and I may be able to get a group rate.

Just a update:

The class we will be held in the parking lot of the Sunset Inn across the street from our store. I spoke to Keith the owner today and he will have drink specials just for us and there will be Karaoke in the bar. The bar closes at 1 am.

How many people need a hotel room? I went to the Days Inn today and they will hold a block of rooms. The rate would be $89.00 a night.

I will be blocking the rooms tomorrow. The rate is $81.00 a night.

Word from Rub is that this class is filling up fast, only a few spots left. If you are thinking about going act fast.

This class is full pending receipt of apps from 2 verbal commitments. :thumb:

However - I just had 1 person today request a transfer to a FL class instead, so his spot is available. First come, first served.

So will I need to pack my winter clothes or what?
