View Full Version : Country Girl...

I'm from the heart of Missouri. I have spent my life out in the country and tend to be a little rough aound the edges. I own a farm, hunt, fish, do a lot of camping and such. I love to cook. Had someone post a link to this site...figured you guys could teach me a lot...so here I am.

I am a babe in the woods when it comes to grilling. I can spit a rabbit and roast a fish over a campfire, but not very experienced with a grill a smoker. Just got my first grill...simple 24" dia Weber with the ash can underneath. Nothing special...but I figure I should learn to do things right before jumping in whole hog!

If I mess up, PLEASE correct me. I'll just look around and pop in for questions once in a while till I get better suited with the cooker. Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the party Dink - this is a great place to hang out and learn. Read, read, read, and ask questions - you will always get an answer from someone.

Welcome to the Forum. There are some great and helpful people here. Once you learn how to do searches, you can pretty much find an answer to any question you might have. But don't be afraid to ask!!
Have fun.

Welcome from the Hoosier state!! The Weber is a great machine to start out with, and I'm sure you'll always keep one around. There isn't a lot you can't do with one.
