isn't this the contest that all new applicants have some kind of mail-in application lottery?

Slower Lower is in for our first year.

Chris, there is a waiting list now to get into the contest. If you're still interested, it's best to use the email address posted by Warthog. They have had a couple teams drop since the list was release, so who knows?

I emailed them. The response was... check the website Jan 2012

This was in the email they sent out with the team names for this year.



Here is the FINAL LIST of competitors - we had two drop out, clerical error (one team listed twice) and a move up of two teams from the standby list At this point we are not moving anyone else up. The number of competitors is 67.

We were one of the teams (Hawgs Gone Smokin) that backed out. Had a little dissention among our team so we withdrew and I started a new team by myself. I love this event and will be back next year. Good luck to all!
