First post here, so bear with me.... My friends and I started a BBQ club a year ago and are getting ready to start competing this summer. I have been looking for a place that could help us improve our game as well as meet more folk that love their Q'. I have checked out he "Welcome to our Humble abode" thread and all I can say is WOW, I could read that thing all day. I am really looking forward to learning some new tricks of the trade from everyone.

Have a nice day,

AO

Thanks for the warm welcome. There is so much information here, I spent more than half of my day reading/learning more about the Q instead of working. I am afraid that this site might become detrimental to my real job, but I'm cool with that. :-D

You can forget you have a real job as of now. You are a Pitmaster in the making and you have this place that you have to go for hours a day that detracts from your BBQ life...:mod:

Cheers!

Welcome, I have learned more from the members on this board than I could ever imagine, and I'm sure you will as well. I took a trip to your hometown a few years ago to see a football game and eat BBQ all weekend, it was a great trip, you are lucky to live in a town where BBQ is king!
