This is not Q, but it does involve lots of meat.
Threw together a pretty good batch.
Took about a 1/4 lb of dried Ancho and New Mexico chiles(make sure you remove the stems. Boiled them in about 2 qts of water until tender and put them through the food processor. Strained out the skin and seeds.
Browned 4lbs stew meat and 3lbs of hamburger meat, drained. Added the chile water, cumin, garlic, salt and onion powder. Cooked for about 3 hours until the meat was tender.
Came out great. Next time I will add a little mexican oregeno.

Chile.... aint BBQ.... but it sure got a place here!!!! preferably in a big ass bowl in front of my droolin chops. :).

Toss in some Fritos and cheddar cheese and we are set!

That my friend is chili.
A little cocoa power adds a nice touch.. try it some time.

Mexican oregano is a key ingredient.

Small bag, sliced open down the side, and add chopped onion (preferably spanish onion). Sliced jalapenos if you like. If you can mix in a high school football game in Texas during November on a cold night....then that my friend is as good as Frito Pie gets.
