the local meat market has them right now for $1.79.

is there a way to buy them wholesale or online anywhere?

Sams or restaurant depot will both sell at case prices

okay, found out that $1.79 a lb was about a month ago.

Just called Kelley's (local distrubuter) and I can buy there for a current price of $1.37 lb

Butts are generally more expensive in the spring, plus with the price of fuel right now.... $1.37 doesn't sound too bad. We bought 50 cases for a fundraiser in March and they were in the $1.20/lb range.

If it's a non-profit check with Sysco, they might even deliver the day of the event for you.

Just call sams, I had the same issue once they are pretty savy about getting you prices over the phone.

Sams is a $1.60lb.

Know a guy who used to be a sales rep from Sysco and he said they are inline with Sams or a bit higher on a few things.

Looks like Kelley's is the place for $1.37

AU Radar the commisary is cheaper than SAMS if you have access and they will sell by the case.

Always price check the commissary if you have access. The tax savings itself can make a big difference.

If you have a costco, try them as they give me a case discount

How are you going to cook and store 120 butts properly? Forget about getting them!

don't know anyone.

as far as taxes, we're a church so we should be tax exempt anyway
