Ryan Chester
05-04-2011, 04:49 PM
I will be giving away a free sample of The Rub Co. Original Rub to the first 15 brethren to PM me with ALL their contact info. My only requirement is that you have to post PRON of you using it. This rub is a savory blend with pronounced onion, garlic, and pepper flavors. No sweet with a bit of heat.

I really like that the description says no sweet as I tend to like more savory than sweet seasonings. I'm looking forward to trying it even though I'm not sure I'm one of the lucky ones yet.

Here I am trying to be a nice guy by giving away FREE rub and trying to promote my business at the same time. Unfortionately, I don't have the capital to give away hundreds of samples right now. Hard to believe a Brethren would knock another Brethren for giving away free rub.

Thanks but no thanks. I have 15 more samples of our Barbeque blend ready to go but I wanted to waite a couple days to make that offer to spread out my milage. Now that you have called me out calling me a cheap ass, I know who isn't going to get one.

SORRY EVERYONE HAD TO READ THIS BS. I GUESS SOMEONE CAN'T BE POSITIVE ABOUT A GUY TRYING TO DO A GOOD THING.

The cheap ass thing was a joke (you should have noticed the smiley.) You are the one making a mole hill out of a mountain. My offer still stands, since you are so strapped for cash. I thought I would help a brother out. Am I wrong?

Ryan, once again you have shown yourself to be a stand up guy. I don't understand calling someone out over a $7-8 bottle of rub. I guess brethren means different things to different people. I think I will go to your website again and place an order.

Thats a good looking fella right there^^^^^^^. But I do understand what Ryan is talking about. I was in the same boat and one thing people don't realize is shipping cost more than the sample itself. Although, if you are going to but sample form the Rub Co. I would like to put my hat in now for some of that Santa Maria :clap2:. Love that stuff!:becky:

Actually it wasn't a "smiley" as you might have considered. That's the "smiley" for giving someone a "razz." In other words you called Ryan a "cheap ass" and then gave the symbol for sticking out your tongue at someone.

Got mine yesterday after paying at the window. They'd marked on the envelope that it was too thick and therefore entered the "two ounce" realm of charges.

I used it on grilled pork chops last night too - but that's for another thread. ;)
