I am the organizer of this event located in Lake Odessa, MI it is a "NON - schanioned" BBQ Challenge. However we do follow the rules of KCBS as closely as we can. A question was asked of me if I would allow the team to pre trim the meat prior to leaving home. In the past we did not allow this. I have been told that this is allowed in the KCBS rules. I haven't seen it written either way. So is this allowed? Please help me out so I can get this information to my other teams as well. Do you also allow pre-marinated product to be used?
