Cooked Dr. Chicken's Ham in the oven yesterday because the weather was farking terrible. Last time I do that. Everyone raved about it being the best ham they ever had except the wife and I because we know how farking great it turns out on the 'dera. After all, the correct name is Dr. Chicken's Double Smoked Ham not oven baked ham.

Neil, I too fell for the Dr. Chickens ham. The technique and glaze were awesome. I personally didn't care for the flavor of the marinade (I was in the minority on this). I don't know if it was the brand of amaretto I used or the alcohol in the extracts, but it tasted boozy to me. Next time I make it, I'm gonna alter the injection to a more "traditional" pineapple and brown sugar taste.
