Are there any Brethren that are veterans of steak cook-offs?

I know that there are a few held in Texas. I'm not sure how popular they are on the west coast.

I went to the one in Magnolia, Arkansas a couple times. It's a lot of fun and I plan to go back when I get a chance.

Finished 2nd in 2009 & 2010 at the Georgia Great Steak Cook-off. Was not able to compete this year due to a schedule conflict.

They have one at the Oregon state fair. You must qualify in your county.

A change of pace for a good time and friendly competition. This is going to grow each year. Last year was a great time and this year will be even better. There will be some good music, wine tasting, and other things for the kids to do.

Even if you don't compete, the family will have a great time.

Check this out. I hope the attachments open. If not could someone tell me how to do it correctly?

This will be my first comp. So I would like some advice also. This is going to be a really great event. I see some Ga boys, come on over to Lincoln County and join us for a great time.
