Hey all, we are getting ready for our first comp cook. I was hoping I might be able to bumb a timeline sheet from someone. As the comp is rapidly approaching I have been trying to go over everything in my head but realize this could be a huge help especially for a knucklehead like myself!

I really appreciate the help and thanks in advance!

Here's one I found by doing a Google search:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AgtAmMIKiULHdE01cktWN3VrNDBEMzl2dk4zcjBsY UE&hl=en#gid=0

PM me your email address and I will email you a copy of ours. You will need at least Excel 2007 to open it though.

Just remember, these time lines are designed around cooking temps, but these should be a good place to start. I highly suggest doing several practice cooks using competition deadlines to get yourself acquainted.

Peoples cook times vary. Just use a excel spread sheet

Send me a PM with your email address and I will send you a timeline that I created.
Are the turn-in times for your comp 12, 12:30, 1 & 1:30?

Yes sir, I really am not looking for an exact guide just a basic blueprint that I can ammend for our cooker's times and turn in times etc. More than anything I don't want to forget something! :)

We just use a dry eraser board (a large one) and that way if we need to call an audible we can just erase and re-write processes if needed...works good for us...We also have one person (who happens to be my only teammate) who is responsible for making sure we hit all of our steps...One person does 95% of the cooking (me), and he is in charge of making sure we're on schedule....That way theres no (OH CRAP I FORGOT) moments!! :becky:
